Solar Energy is produced by capturing the sun’s rays and absorbing them into a photovoltaic cell.  The panels [solar panels, PV panels] are assembled with one or more PV cells “wired” together to form a photovoltaic mesh that allows all of captured energy to contribute to producing power.

There are many configurations that can be assembled and many sizes of PV panels that can be built or purchased to start generating free electrical power.  Getting off of the POWER GRID is a goal.  Even better is to live in a mandatory buyback state and “over-produce” electricity and make the utility company pay you.

The goal is to get off the grid, stop using fossil fuel and bypass the need to extract the resources from the earth if it is all available for free from the sun.
